StaffAny supports teams in any country. Scheduling, attendance, timesheets, leave, HR, and reporting are available worldwide. Payroll processing (PayrollAny) is currently supported for Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia only. If your organisation is based outside these three countries, this article explains what to expect and how to configure your account correctly.
This guide will cover how to:
Understand what features are available
The table below shows which StaffAny features are available based on your organisation's country.
Feature | Singapore / Malaysia / Indonesia | All other countries |
Scheduling & Roster | ✓ | ✓ |
Attendance & Clock In/Out | ✓ | ✓ |
Timesheets | ✓ | ✓ |
Leave Management | ✓ | ✓ |
HR Records & Employee Management | ✓ | ✓ |
Reports | ✓ | ✓ |
PayrollAny (payroll processing) | ✓ | Not available |
If your organisation's country is not Singapore, Malaysia, or Indonesia, the Payroll section will not appear in your account. All other features work as described in the rest of the Help Centre.
Set your organisation's currency
Your organisation's country determines which country-specific features — such as PayrollAny — are shown in your account. Set it to the currency where your team operates.
To update your organisation's currency:
Go to Settings > Organisation.
Under the General section, locate the Currency field and select your currency from the dropdown.
Click Save to apply the change.
Set your organisation's timezone
StaffAny uses your organisation's timezone to calculate shift times, attendance windows, timesheet records, and reports. If your team is not in Singapore, update the timezone before creating your first schedule so that all records reflect your local time.
Note: All new StaffAny accounts default to Asia/Singapore (UTC+8). Update this if your team operates in a different timezone.
To update your organisation's timezone:
Go to Settings > General.
Under the General section, locate the Timezone field and select your local timezone from the dropdown.
Click Save. All shift times and timesheet records will now reflect your selected timezone.
Understand how currency works
StaffAny displays pay rates and cost reports in the currency that matches your organisation's country. The table below shows the supported currency mappings.
Country / Region | Currency displayed |
Singapore | SGD |
Malaysia | MYR |
Indonesia | IDR |
Thailand | THB |
Eurozone countries (e.g. France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands) | EUR |
All other countries | SGD (default) |
If your country is not listed above, your account will display SGD by default.
FAQ
Can I use StaffAny if my team is outside Singapore, Malaysia, or Indonesia?
Yes. Scheduling, attendance, timesheets, leave, HR records, and reporting are available for teams in any country. Only PayrollAny (payroll processing) is restricted to Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia at this time.
Will the Payroll section appear if my country is not supported?
No. If your organisation's country is not Singapore, Malaysia, or Indonesia, the Payroll section will not appear in your StaffAny account.
My shift times are showing Singapore time instead of my local time. What should I do?
Update your organisation's timezone in Settings > Organisation > General. New accounts default to Asia/Singapore (UTC+8). Once updated, all future shifts and timesheet records will use your selected timezone.
My account is showing SGD but my team uses a different currency. Can this be changed?
Currency is set based on your organisation's country. If your currency is not in the supported list, contact StaffAny support and we will assist you.
Does StaffAny plan to support payroll in more countries?
PayrollAny currently covers Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Contact your StaffAny account manager for updates on payroll expansion to other countries.
