Indonesia payroll uses whole-rupiah values for pay item rates and payroll results. StaffAny rounds new or edited payroll values to the nearest whole number so payments do not contain unsupported decimal amounts.
This guide will cover how to:
Understand Which Values Are Rounded
For Indonesia payroll, StaffAny rounds these values to 0 decimal places:
Fixed Amount pay item rates.
Rates used in Time x Rate pay items.
Formula results.
Pay item results shown and saved from View Payroll, Edit Payroll, and Mass Edit Payroll.
Example: Rp100,000.49 rounds to Rp100,000, while Rp100,000.50 rounds to Rp100,001.
Take-home pay and payment totals are calculated from these rounded pay item results, so no additional rounding step is applied.
Understand Existing Payroll Behavior
Existing finalized payrolls are not recalculated automatically. The new rounding behavior applies when you create a new payroll or edit and save an affected payroll.
Warning: Editing and saving an older payroll may apply current rounding behavior to the values you changed. Review the payroll summary before finalizing.
Read Totals and Reports
Payroll and payment reports continue to use the saved payroll results. Some total fields may still be formatted with decimal places, for example Rp733,120,855.00, even when every underlying pay item is a whole number.
