What this feature does

  • Provides a new setting that controls whether leave eligibility should be based on the Confirmation Date or a default number of months.

  • Adds a Confirmation Date field in the employee profile.

How to enable it

  1. Go to Leave Settings.

  2. Turn on the option After the confirmation date, or default to X months if left blank.

  3. Enter the number of months to be used when no Confirmation Date is provided.

Updating the Confirmation Date

You can update the Confirmation Date for an employee if you need to extend the waiting period before they can apply for leave.

Steps:

  1. Open the employee profile.

  2. Locate the Confirmation Date field.

  3. Enter or update the date and save your changes.

    1. If it's blank, the system checks the X month value in Leave Settings and applies that rule.

    2. If a Confirmation Date is entered, the employee will only be able to apply for leave after that date.

Example scenarios

Leave setting: Leave can be taken After the confirmation date, or default to 3 months if left blank.
