With Timesheet Lock, you can lock any edits made on Timesheets and Schedule (e.g. clocking in and out, writing notes, deleting records and shift tags). You will be able to protect the worked hours from any edits up to the selected date. This will make your payroll processing cleaner and faster!
Note: The timesheet lock feature will be updated on Mar 2026. Instead of locking timesheets organisation-wide, you’ll now be able to flexibly lock individual staff timesheets.

Individual Timesheet Lock
Locking and Unlocking Timesheets for Multiple Staff
You can lock and unlock timesheets for multiple staff at once through our timesheet summary page.
Go to Timesheets > select Lock button
On the Timesheet lock page, select the relevant staff to change the lock date > click on Update Lock date button
In the modal, choose the lock date for the selected staff and ensure that the checkbox is ticked > Click on Update button to proceed
To lock timesheets, set the lock date to the desired cutoff.
Once locked, managers and owners will no longer be able to edit timesheets or schedules up to the lock date.
To unlock timesheets, set the lock date to a date before the desired one.
When unlocked, managers and owners can edit timesheets or schedules up to the new lock date.
Note: Unlocking timesheets will lead to timesheet recalculation for that staff
The selected staff’s lock date will be updated

You can lock and unlock timesheets for individual staff through the staff’s timesheet details page.
Go to Timesheets > select a staff > select Lock button
In the modal, choose the lock date for the staff and ensure that the checkbox is ticked > Click on Update button to proceed
To lock timesheets, set the lock date to the desired cutoff.
Once locked, managers and owners will no longer be able to edit timesheets or schedules up to the lock date.

Q: What happens when timesheets are locked?
In Timesheets, managers and owners will not be able to:

In Schedule, managers and owners will not be able to edit schedule for that staff
When adding a new transition in career history, the effective date of the compensation cannot happen before the timesheet lock date. You will be asked to either adjust the effective date or lock date.
