The Work More Approval feature helps Managers and Owners to approve the ‘Work More’ hours that staff submits before it officially gets recorded into their working hours.

You will no longer need to worry if your Staff are clocking unapproved ‘Work More’ hours and avoid needing to edit the Timesheet for such hours.

By turning on the Work More Approval feature via Settings, Managers and Owners can now Accept, Reject, or Edit the amount of extra time employees are working for their shift.

Approved ‘Work More’ hours will be recorded as work hours of a staff. Daily and Weekly OT rules stays the same and will be applied.

FAQ

  1. What happens if I turn off the Worked More Approval feature while there are still unapproved requests?

The pending Work More Requests will no longer be actioned upon. All Pending Work More Request will no longer be actionable (to be accepted/rejected), and the requested work more hours will not be counted in staff’s total worked hours. However, you can always go to the staff’s individual timesheet and edit staff’s Timesheet records as per usual

  2. What happens if my employee submits multiple “Worked More” request?

You as an owner or manager will still be able to view all the Worked More requests, and you will be able to accept or reject the latest request. Accepting a Work More Request allows you to edit the clock out time directly as well.

  3. What happens when my staff uses the Unscheduled Clock In and Clock Out for the day, will they still be able to submit Work More Requests?

For staff or employees who clocked in and out of an unscheduled shift, any “worked more” submitted will automatically be recorded as their clocked out timing for the unscheduled shift.

  4. By allowing access for "Allow managers to override timesheets", Managers will be able to Approve/Reject Work More Requests and edit Timesheet information.
