Sync Shifts with External Calendar Applications

View your shifts on Google, Apple and Outlook Calendar

Learn how to sync and view your shifts on popular calendar apps.

In this article, we'll show you how you can sync your shifts with popular calendar apps, inclusive of Google, Apple and Outlook Calendar.

This guide will cover the following:

Syncing your shifts with Calendar Apps

Set Up in StaffAny

  1. Navigate to More tab > Tap on Sync Shifts to Calendar

  2. Tap on the toggle button (syncing might take a while!)

  3. Copy your calendar link and add it to either your Google, Outlook or Apple calendar!

Note: Shifts that have already been published before the sync is enabled, will not be visible on the calendar.

Set Up in Calendar Apps

You can view your shifts with these calendar apps by following the instructions below.

Google Calendar (Recommended):

  1. Open google calendar on browser

  2. On the bottom left of your screen, click on the ‘+’ icon beside ‘Other calendars’

  3. Select ‘From URL’

  4. Copy your calendar link and click ‘Add calendar’

  5. You have successfully added your StaffAny shifts onto Google Calendar!

Note: Shift updates on StaffAny will be instantly reflected on Google Calendar

Outlook Calendar:

  1. Enter outlook calendar and click on ‘Add calendar’

  2. Click ‘Subscribe from web’

  3. Enter your calendar url and customise your calendar

  4. Once done, click import. You have successfully added your StaffAny shifts onto outlook calendar!

Note: Shift updates on StaffAny will take up to 2 days to be updated on outlook calendar.

Apple Calendar:

  1. Open Apple calendar

  2. Under ‘File’, click ‘New Calendar subscription’

  3. Enter your calendar url and click ‘subscribe’

  4. Customise your calendar.

    We recommend setting auto-refresh to every 5 minutes

  5. Click ‘OK’. You have successfully added your StaffAnys shifts to apple calendar!

Note: Using the recommended refresh rate, shift updates on StaffAny will be reflected on your apple calendar every 5 minutes.

Disconnect shifts from Calendar Apps

  1. Navigate to More tab > Tap on Sync Shifts to Calendar

  2. Tap on the toggle button to turn off sync
