Set up goals / individual KPIs for each staff and evaluate them in your appraisal cycle on a scale of 1 to 5.

Once goals have been created and the appraisal cycle has started, reviewers must set the custom score weights for the assigned reviewees before any reviews can be completed.

View our appraisals walkthrough video for a brief overview of the feature:

This guide will cover the following:

Creating and Deleting Goals

Goals can be customised for each staff in the organisation. To create a goal,

  1. Go to My Team > select a staff

  2. Select the Goals card to start adding or editing goals

  3. Add the Goal Name and Description. These information will appear in the appraisal form that reviewees/reviewers will fill up

    1. You can add as many goals as you want

  4. Click on Save

All goals that are shown in the card will be pulled into the appraisal cycle when it is created. If there are inactive goals, you can delete them by:

  1. Select the Goals card

  2. Click on the trash icon to delete the relevant goal

  3. Click on Save

To edit any incorrect information in the goal, follow the same steps to edit.

Including Goals and Custom Weights into Appraisal Cycle

To include goals and custom weights into the appraisal cycle, ensure that this checkbox is checked.

If you want to learn more about creating a review cycle, refer to this article.

Setting Up Score Weights

Setting score weights allows reviewers to customise how the final score is calculated. This is currently available only for appraisal cycles that include goals.

After the cycle is created, reviewers will need to set up score weights before reviewees / reviewers can write the self and/or downward reviews.

To set up score weights,

  1. Go to “Appraisals”.

  2. Under “Reviews to Complete”, you will see a card that displays the name of the Review Cycle and the number of reviews you have to complete.

  3. Click on the card to view more details.

  4. Here, you can see the list of reviewees that you are required to set up weights for. Click on “Set up weights” to proceed

  1. Fill up the score weights. Total score weight must be 100% before you can click on Save

  1. Once ready, click on “Save” and reviewees / reviewers will be notified to start writing the reviews.

Editing Score Weights

Reviewers can edit score weights at any time until the final review is submitted. To edit score weights,

  1. Go to “Appraisals” > click on the relevant appraisal cycle

  2. Click on “Edit weights”

  1. Edit the score weights and ensure that the total still sums up to 100% before saving
