The Custom Timesheet Export Format removes the need for you to do error-prone excel transformations every month to run payroll. We allow you to customise the StaffAny timesheet summary CSV export format to fit the formats accepted by payroll providers, like Whyze and Info-tech.

Setting up timesheet summary custom export format
To change your timesheet summary export format:
In StaffAny, go to Settings > Export Format
There are two ways that you can customise your timesheet summary export format:
Pick a preset payroll template
Customise your own template
Pick a Preset Payroll Template
Preset payroll templates are designed to accurately follow the format of the payroll system. This helps to save time from the manual customisation of Timesheet summary export format.
Click on the dropdown under Pick a template
Select a payroll provider's name
Press Save

Customise Your Own Template
By manually customise your own template, you can reorder, rename, or remove the export columns to fit your payroll provider's import format.
Click on the dropdown under Pick a template
Select Custom Template
Note: The order of the columns shown here from top to bottom maps to the Timesheet Summary Export columns, from left to right
Reorder / Rename / Hide the columns (read more below)
Press Save
Reordering the Timesheet summary Export Column
Hover over the drag and drop icon of the column you want to reorder
Select the icon and drag within the Included in Export box to your desired order
Press Save
Rename the timesheet summary export column

Hover over the drag and drop icon of the column you want to hide
Drag the column to the "Excluded from Export" box
Press Save
Switching to Excel Format
Under file format, click on the Excel radio button
Press Save
Reset to the default export format
You can reset columns to the original default by clicking on the “Reset to default” button. You can use this to reverse any mistakes you might have made.
Exporting your timesheets with the new format
To export your timesheet summary with the reordered columns, you can follow the steps shown here. The summary export should now follow the format that you have modified.
