The Custom Timesheet Export Format removes the need to do error-prone excel transformations every month to run payroll. We allow you to customize the StaffAny timesheet in individual CSV export format to fit the format accepted by payroll providers

This guide will cover the following:


Setting up Timesheet Individual custom export formats

To change your timesheet individual export format:

  1. In StaffAny, go to Settings > Timesheet Export Format > Individual Timesheet


    Note: The order of the columns shown here from top to bottom maps to the Timesheet Individual Export columns, from left to right.

  2. Create / Reorder / Rename / Hide the columns (read more below)

  3. Press Save

Creating a new Timesheet Individual Export Column

  1. Click on Create new timesheet column

  2. Enter the formulation. You can follow this article to learn more about how to create a new timesheet column.

  3. Save the new formula.

Reordering the Timesheet Individual Export Column

  1. Hover over the drag-and-drop icon of the column you want to reorder

  2. Select the icon and drag within the Included in Export box to your desired order

  3. Press Save

Rename the Timesheet Individual Export Column

To rename a column, there are 2 ways:

  1. Default Column

    1. Click on the name of a column in the Included in Export box.

    2. After you rename the name, you can still see the original name.

  2. Custom Column

    1. Click on the edit button.

    2. you can edit the name in the Timesheet Column Name > Check for the formula and the name > then press Save.


Hiding the Timesheet Individual Export Column

  1. Hover over the drag-and-drop icon of the column you want to hide

  2. Drag the column to the Excluded from Export box

  3. Press Save


Reset to the default export format

You can reset columns to the original default by clicking on the Reset to default button. All of the custom columns will be put back in the Excluded in Export box and any changes to the default column will be reverted to default.


Exporting your timesheets with the new format

To export your timesheet individual with the reordered columns, you can follow the steps shown here. The timesheet individual export should now follow the format that you have modified.
