Contents of this article is applicable to the following users

Tier: START UP, GROWTH, SCALE

Platform: Mobile

Access Level: Owner/Manager/Supervisor/Employee

Forget about the old-school punch cards and inaccurate biometric fingerprint scanners, you are able to clock-in-clock-out by using StaffAny Timeclock.

There are four types of Timeclock:

  • GPS Timeclock (with/without Photo) - read more

  • Geofenced Timeclock (with/without QR code) - read more

  • Geofenced Timeclock (with/without Photo) - covered in this article

  • WiFi Timeclock - read more

Note: Please check with your Manager on your outlet’s Timeclock (clock-in-clock-out method).


This guide will cover the following:


Clock in

Please ensure your mobile's location services (GPS) is turned on and camera permission is given to StaffAny app (for photo taking).

  1. In Mobile app, go to Daily (you will be able to see your assigned shift)

  2. Tap on Check in when you are at your assigned location.

  3. Take a photo. (Skip this step if it is not required).

  4. Tap on Confirm, wait for the system to upload the photo.

  5. Tap on Back to Daily. You have clocked in successfully.


Start Your Break

  1. In Mobile app, go to Daily > Tap on Start Break.

  2. Take a photo. (Skip this step if it is not required).

  3. Tap on confirm, wait for the system to upload the photo.

  4. Tap on Let's go. You have started your break successfully.


Stop Your Break

  1. In Mobile app, go to Daily > Tap on Stop Break.

  2. Take a photo. (Skip this step if it is not required).

  3. Tap on Confirm, wait for the system to upload the photo.

  4. Tap on Back to Work. You have stopped your break successfully.


Clock out

  1. In Mobile app, go to Daily > Tap on Clock Out.

  2. Take a photo. (Skip this step if it is not required).

  3. Tap on Confirm, wait for the system to upload the photo.

  4. Tap on Back to Daily. You have clocked out successfully.


Extend your Shift

If you are required to work more after your shift ends, you may update your clocked out timing.

Please consult your manager before extending your shift.

  1. After you finished working, in Mobile app, go to Daily (you will be able to see your ended shift) > Tap on Worked More.

  2. Take a photo. (Skip this step if it is not required).

  3. Tap on Confirm, wait for the system to upload the photo.

  4. Tap on Back to Daily. You have updated your clocked out timing successfully.
