StaffAny provides many notifications to aid with workflow management. This help article covers all of these notifications, as well as what they mean.
Configurable Notifications
These are notifications that can be adjusted in your settings. Learn how to set it up.
Notification | Meaning |
Shift Reminder | Sent to remind staff of their shifts |
Late Clock In | Sent to staffs who have not Clocked In |
Late Clock Out | Sent to staffs who have not clocked out |
Break Starting Soon | Sent to remind staffs to take breaks |
Break Ending Soon | Sent to remind staffs to end their breaks |
Staff not Clocked In | Sent to section/managers when staffs have not clocked in |
Fixed Notifications (Staff)
Non-adjustable notifications for users with user access level of Employee and Supervisor
Notification | Meaning |
Leave approved | Staff's leave has been approved |
Leave rejected | Staff's leave has been rejected |
Shift published | Schedule for the week has been published |
Shift unpublished | Schedule for the whole week has been deleted |
Shift added | Alert that a new shift has been added |
Shift changed | Alert that a shift has been changed |
Shift removed | Alert that a shift has been removed |
Indicate availability | Sent to staffs to indicate availability for upcoming week |
Nudge availablility | Nudge staff to remind staff again to indicate availability |
Clock In Reminder | Sent 10 minutes before shift starts |
Clock out Reminder | Sent 10 minutes before shift ends |
Break Start | Sent when break is scheduled to start |
Break End | Sent when break is scheduled to end |
Weekly Attendance | Alert for staff to check a report of their weekly attendance |
Clock record deleted | Alert to staff that one of their clocked record has been deleted |
New announcement | Alert that a new announcement has been posted |
Covid Test Reminder | An old alert for staffs to take their Covid test |

Notification | Meaning |
Leave application alert | Staff just applied for leave, head over to

Approved Leave edited | A leave that you approved has been adjusted.

Shift acknowledge | Staff just acknowledged a shift |
Shift grabbed | Staff just tried to grab a shift |
Weekly Attendance | Sent to managers and owners for them to view a weekly report of their staffs attendance |
Staff registered | Staff has just been registered |
Join Org Request | A new staff just requested to join a section |
New applicant | An applicant just applied for a role |
Device Match Alert | An alert when a staff is suspected of fraudulent clock in. Read more |
Timesheet lock date changed | Alert that date for timesheet lock has been changed |
Work More Approval disabled | Sent when Work More Approval setting is disabled |
