The custom employee field feature lets you add extra employee information that suits the specific needs of you and your team, so you can centralize your employee database in StaffAny. Any custom employee segments and fields created will show up in every single employee’s profile on My Team.

Employee Segment & Field
There are 2 elements that you can customise in the custom form:
Segment
The employee segment will be displayed on the My Team page. Segments typically include multiple fields categorized under one theme or topic.
Field
The field usually contains one piece of information for one topic. For customisation, you may add one of the following types:
Field Type | Functions |
Text | A simple text form for capturing information such as name, email, address, etc. |
Choice | Field type that allows users to select one option from a set of choices such as Yes/No Questions. |
Dropdown | The dropdown provides a list of options, allowing users to select one choice from the list. |
Date | Enable date selection, ideal for specifying precise dates such as certification expiry, birthdays, and more. |
Manage Custom Employee Segment
Add Custom Employee Segment
The employee segment can be located in My Team. You can add your custom segment by following these steps:
Go to Settings > Employee Form > Add Segments.
Fill up the Segment name.
Add and fill in at least one field to proceed.
Click Save Segment.
Reorder Custom Employee Segment
You can reorder segments by clicking and dragging them into your desired order. Changes to the segment order will also be reflected in My Team.
Delete & Archive Custom Employee Segment
Delete Segment
You can delete a segment only during creation. To delete a segment, click on the delete icon below the segment name.
Archive Segment
After saving, deleting a segment is not possible. Instead, you can choose to archive it. Here's how you can archive a segment:
Go to Settings > Employee Form > Segment.
You can either archive an entire section by toggling on the button.
Archived sections will not be visible in the Segment Preview or on the My Team card after saving.
Click Save Segments to save the progress. You can easily unarchive a segment at any time.

Add Custom Employee Field
The employee fields can be found in the My Team segments. You can add your own custom field through these steps:
Go to Settings > Employee Form
Under a segment, click Add Field.
Choose one of the field types and fill out the field name. Adding a tooltips
Click Save Segment.
Reorder Custom Employee Field
You can reorder segments by clicking and dragging them into your desired order. Changes to the segment order will also be reflected in My Team.

Mass Add /Edit a Custom Employee Information
