Once you’ve added the payroll(s) into a payment, you will be able to publish these payrolls to send the payslips to your employees.

Types of Payslips
StaffAny currently supports 3 types of payslips

Publish Payslips
Once a payment has been published, staff will be able to view the Month Payslip and Payment Payslip on the mobile app.
Go to Payroll > Payments > Click on Publish for the payment that you want to publish payslips for
A modal will appear where you can set the payment date and publish date.
The payment date is also displayed on the payslip as the Payment Date. However, the payment date will not show up in the bank file and the date set in the bank file will be set separately during downloading the bank file.
Payslips will be published to staff on the publish date. Staff will receive a notification and can download their payslip directly from the app.
Now: Publish payment immediately
Scheduled for a certain date by selecting the date. Employees will receive their payslips via mobile app immediately or on the scheduled date. If the pay date is scheduled to a certain date, the employee will receive their payslip at approximately 8 AM on the selected date.
Note: To avoid delays in payment processing, please avoid scheduling the pay date on weekends and bank holidays.
Click the Publish button
Once published, the payment and payroll status will change to “Published”. Please check and refresh your browser accordingly if you do not see any changes.
Unpublish Payslips
If you discover any discrepancies after publishing the payroll, you can easily unpublish it to make adjustments and then publish again. To unpublish the payroll:
Go to Payroll > Payments > Click on Unpublish for the payment that you want to unpublish payslips for
Do note that payments do not need to be unpublished in order
A confirmation modal will appear and click on Unpublish Payroll.
Your payroll will be unpublished and:
Payment status will change to “Pending”
Payroll status will change to “Finalised”. To make changes to the payroll, you can delete the payment
Employees will be notified and their previously published payslip will be removed from the mobile app.
Payment Date in the employee’s payslips will be updated as “Unpublished”.
Payment data will no longer be included in the monthly payslip aggregation.
Unpublishing payroll updates only the payment date on the latest payslip, making previously downloaded versions unaffected. Employees must re-download the latest payslip to access updated information.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I just realized that my old payroll has some wrong data. How do I unpublish only for that specific payroll?
A: You cannot unpublish for a specific payroll, you can only unpublish payments. To edit the old payroll data, you can follow these steps:
Unpublish the payment that payroll has been added to
Unfinalise the payrolls in order and to make changes to the old payroll.
