StaffAny Starter Guide for Employee

With employee access level see how to get started and download, login and clock in with the StaffAny app

StaffAny is your all-in-one work app to check your schedule, clock in and clock out of your shifts, apply leave & check leave balances, add your availabilities, check your payslips, and more!

Download StaffAny App & Login

Downloading StaffAny App

You will receive an SMS with a link to download StaffAny App after your manager adds you into the system with your phone number and sends you the invite link.

If you have been added with the correct phone number but still did not receive this SMS, you may still download the app either

  1. From the link here

  2. Directly from Apple App Store / Google Play Store / Huawei AppGallery by searching 'StaffAny Employee Scheduling'

If you cannot download or launch StaffAny, see if you fulfil the Minimum OS Version of StaffAny

Change Language Setting

After opening the StaffAny app, tap on "English" at the top to change to other languages

Logging In

  • Your mobile number is your user ID. Log in with the same number your manager used. You’ll then receive an SMS OTP to verify your account.

  • Choose the country flag, enter your number, then key in the OTP

    • For Singaporean numbers or numbers not linked to WhatsApp - via SMS

    • For Malaysian and Indonesia numbers - via WhatsApp

Complete Signup

If you are logging in for the first time, complete the sign up process

  • Add your email address (used as secondary login method if your phone cannot receive SMS)

    • you may enter a space if you do not have an email address

  • Upload a photo/take a photo now or do it later

  • Then click on "Let's Go"

If you see this page with the "Daily" tab you are successfully logged in to your organisation. You can check the organisation you are logged in to in the "More" tab

Check My Schedule

Get notified for upcoming shift when manager publishes

You will receive a notification when the upcoming week of shifts are published

Check published shifts

  • Go to "Schedule" tab

  • Open the upcoming week to see the shifts you have been scheduled

Get notified for upcoming shift

You will receive a notification 1-24 h before the start of your shift


Clock in / out of shift (Geofence + QR)

Clock In

If you are scheduled a shift, on "Daily", you should see a shift

  • Tap the green "Clock In" button

  • Give StaffAny permissions to use your location

  • The map will show if you are outside the radius of your outlet

  • Give StaffAny permissions to Access the Camera

  • Scan the QR code with your camera

  • You will see the green "Checked in to" page to confirm you have clocked in

Start Break

  • Tap the "Start Break" button

  • You must be within the radius of your geofence and scan the QR code

  • You will see the green success page to confirm you have started your break

Stop Break

  • Tap the "Stop Break" button

  • You must be within the radius of your geofence and scan the QR code

  • You will see the green success page to confirm you have stopped your break

Clock Out

  • Tap the "Clock Out" button

  • You must be within the radius of your geofence and scan the QR code

  • You will see the green success page to confirm you have clocked out

Work More

Please ask your manager before sending work more request

  • Tap "Send Work More Request" button

  • Fill up reason for working more

  • You must be within the radius of your geofence and scan the QR code

  • You will see the green success page to confirm you have clocked out

  • Work more request is subject to manager approval

Unscheduled Clock In

You can still clock in to a shift if your manager has not scheduled you a shift.

Note: If you have an assigned shift, please DO NOT request for unscheduled shift.

  • Tap "Unscheduled Shift Request" button

  • Select the section to clock in

  • You must be within the radius of your geofence and scan the QR code

  • You will see the green success page to confirm you have clocked in

  • Unscheduled clock in is subject to manager approval

Cannot Clock in / out

Check My Timesheet

To confirm your clock-in and clock-out times, you can view all timesheet records in the timesheet

  • Go to "Timesheet" tab

  • You can filter for the date range of timesheets to view


Apply for Leave

You can now apply for leave in StaffAny, no need to ask your manager verbally or fill out leave request forms.

  • Go to "More" tab > In "My Leaves"

  • In "Add Leave" you can apply for leaves

Check My Payslip

  • Go to "More" tab > In "My Payslip"

  • You can download your payslips


Contact StaffAny Support

  • Tap the Support icon button at the top right of the page

  • Tap on "Send us a message"

  • Send us a message with screenshots or videos of the issue you face for faster and easier resolution
